What is The Zen-Academy?
The Zen-Academy is an 8-week Mindfulness training, based on the official, scientifically proven Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program developed by Professor Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. He designed this program to assist people suffering from stress, anxiety, depression and pain. The Zen-Academy is adapted to Modern Minds, understanding your lifestyle and ambitions.
Content of the course
The course consists of 8 coaching sessions and 6 learning modules:
1. Autopilot vs Awareness
Discover what Mindfulness entails. Gain a deeper understanding of the impact of living on Auto-pilot vs from awareness.
3. Stress Management
Dive deeper into the underlying mechanics of stress. Learn to recognize, understand and manage your stress and anxiety better.
5. Energy Management
Learn to analyse your energy patterns, explore the power of positive psychology and take concrete steps to raise your daily energy level.
2. Dealing with Obstacles
Learn four different strategies to deal with obstacles. Approach problems and difficult situations in a lighter way and get them resolved faster.
4. Emotional Agility
We will dive into your mind together, unravel and ease negative thought patterns. Also, you will learn how to deal with strong emotions.
6. Compassion & Routine
This module is about love and cultivating compassion towards others and yourself. Also, you will create your own routine for after the training to make the impact last.
