I. feel. you. 🤍

I can confidently say that throughout my life I have probably experienced EVERY kind of sleeping problem.

At a certain stage I slept 3-5 hours per night for 1,5 (!!) years.

I decided to take it seriously and really understand sleep.

In my new year’s resolution I just wrote down one thing:
“This year I will sleep like a baby”

𝐼 𝑡𝑎𝑙𝑘𝑒𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑛𝑒𝑢𝑟𝑜𝑠𝑐𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑠, 𝑑𝑖𝑑 𝑐𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑠𝑒𝑠, 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑑 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦 𝑏𝑜𝑜𝑘 𝐼 𝑐𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 𝑓𝑖𝑛𝑑, 𝐼 𝑑𝑖𝑑 𝑎 𝑑𝑒𝑒𝑝𝑑𝑖𝑣𝑒 𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑜 𝑢𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑛𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑚𝑒𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑖𝑐𝑠 𝑢𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑙𝑦𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑠𝑙𝑒𝑒𝑝 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑠𝑙𝑒𝑒𝑝 ℎ𝑜𝑟𝑚𝑜𝑛𝑒𝑠.

I can now gladly say my ‘dreams’ have come true 💫🌈 !!!

I found out that often we 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑘 we have tried every solution, but we really haven’t - and we 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑘 we do all the right things; but we REALLY don’t. We lack essential knowledge.

𝐷𝑜 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑒𝑥𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒 𝑙𝑜𝑛𝑔, 𝑑𝑎𝑟𝑘 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑙𝑜𝑛𝑒𝑙𝑦 𝑛𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡𝑠? 𝐴𝑟𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑒𝑥ℎ𝑎𝑢𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑑 𝑑𝑢𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑑𝑎𝑦?

ℍ𝕠𝕨 𝕥𝕠 𝕝𝕚𝕧𝕖 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕝𝕚𝕗𝕖 𝕓𝕖𝕪𝕠𝕟𝕕 𝕪𝕠𝕦𝕣 𝕨𝕚𝕝𝕕𝕖𝕤𝕥 𝕕𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕞𝕤?

I love living creatively.
I have always dreamt big, turned dreams into plans, into reality.

My dreams and love for adventure have allowed me to explore and live life to the full.

My dreams led me to live on the islands of Fiji, work as a Shepheard in New Zealand, and travel this vast country backpacking on horseback. My love for mountains and passion for snow led me to study avalanches in Canada, obtaining my licence to co-guide in the mountains.

The dream thing. At first this was easy. Before 'real life' started. Before I was tied to a fixed job. Then I started working. I thought my life stopped.

𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘦𝘹𝘩𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘥.
𝘙𝘶𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘹𝘵 𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬, 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘺 𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘵𝘰-𝘥𝘰 𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦.
𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘈𝘓𝘞𝘈𝘠𝘚 𝘖𝘕.
𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘺 𝘪𝘯 𝘮𝘺 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘥: 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘳𝘦𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨.
𝘈𝘯𝘥.. 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴: 𝘐 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘮𝘺 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘬.

It was early spring 2016.
I decided: This. NEEDS. To. Change.
I called my employer: I'm not coming to the office today.

I went to my favourite coffee place and wrote down the following question:
𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐈 𝐟𝐥𝐲 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐄𝐄𝐋 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝?

Then I made myself a promise:
𝐈 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 - 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐯e 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐲 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬. 💫🌈

Right there and then I embarked on a journey. A journey that led me to travel many countries, study Mindfulness, Positive Psychology and NLP - alongside my corporate job. A journey that allowed me to find calm and claim back my spark. ✨

How to spice it up?

I love living creatively.

Until I found a new way of living to the full: with a 𝑷𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒏.

Every year I make a list of 20 things that I would like to do that year. You might think 20 (!!) OMG, that is so much. But it is a mix of bigger things: e.g. do a Mindfulness Training, do a yoga Teacher training (and now set up my own business!!), make trip to Peru and smaller things: I would like to have more plants in my house, find 5 new delicious vegetarian recipes.

There is one simple rule to the list: they have to be things that I LOVE doing, that give me energy. That bring my spark alive.

It is possible to give life a bite. Even with the smallest things. Maybe start with one thing that you would like to do or learn. Write it down. Make it happen.
